Quant Solvent is a Tennessee-based software development and technical consulting practice led by Clayton Severson, Principal Consultant. We work where money, technology, and healthcare intersect — for billing companies, provider groups, health systems, health-tech startups, and payer teams.

Clayton Severson writes the code, runs the migrations, and stands behind what ships. His working practice spans healthcare revenue cycle analytics built on live claims and remittance data, LLM-powered workflow tools deployed on regulated data with HIPAA safeguards, production data warehouse migrations (including Teradata to Databricks), and full-stack platform builds on modern stacks. The name

A chemistry metaphor. A solvent separates a mixture into its components by phase and solubility, so each one can be isolated and measured. Quant Solvent does the quantitative version — dissolving tangled, messy data into clean, measurable structure, so the properties that actually matter become visible and usable.
